At Good Medicine Counseling, I believe healing begins with connection. I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health services designed to support adults navigating life’s challenges, transitions, and traumas. Whether you’re seeking clarity, relief, or growth, I’m here to walk beside you as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor committed to culturally responsive care.

Marjorie R. Basballe
M.A., M.S., LMHCA, NCC, EMDR-Trained.
I’m Marjorie R. Basballe, M.A., M.S., LMHCA, SUDPT—a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, Licensed Trauma Therapist, and enrolled member of the Puyallup Tribe. With over 23 years of experience in tribal social services, advocacy, and trauma-informed care, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families impacted by domestic violence, substance use, child abuse, and the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) crisis.
Currently, I serve as a Victim Advocate and Care Coordinator at the Children of the River Child Advocacy Center, where I walk alongside children and families navigating systems of care with empathy and cultural integrity.
In my therapeutic practice, I integrate evidence-based modalities with Indigenous knowledge systems—incorporating storytelling, expressive arts, land-based healing, and cultural reconnection. I specialize in helping survivors of historical and intergenerational trauma break cycles of harm, reclaim their strengths, and restore relational balance.
I hold dual master’s degrees in Leadership and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I offer training and consultation to educators, tribal programs, and community organizations on topics such as child protection, digital safety, and Indigenous-centered wellness strategies.
