Professional practice is also informed by Indigenous ethical frameworks, including guidance from the Society of Indian Psychologists and Tribal research review boards. These perspectives emphasize community accountability, cultural humility, relational responsibility, and Tribal sovereignty, and recognize that standard Western ethics codes may not fully reflect the realities of Indigenous communities, dual relationships, and collective care.
